What changes could you live with? That’s the question on everyone’s mind as more and more humans at Attic High find themselves transformed, some by choice, others by force. Cass Calloway is especially fed up with having hooves, horns, and a goatee she can’t shave off, but that’s what she’s stuck with.

Or is she? The answer to changing back is within her—literally—and she’s determined to find it. If only the same could be said for her brother, Flint, who’s trying to prove he can thrive as a flying squirrel. And Cass’ boyfriend, Noah, is becoming more like a salamander every day to his own peril as winter’s paralyzing chill creeps in.

Each of them must decide what form will truly bring them peace. The last question is: Will they risk their lives to get it?
